Wendy
Freier, Education Chm,
helping to educate the public at the GGKC show.2008.
Wendy has taken on this position for a number of years,
always improving the selection and quality of the literature offered to the public.Other AOCNC members support the
effort by taking 3 hour shifts at the table Saturday
and Sunday of the Golden Gate Kennel Club events. Each assn club has the opportunity to
provide literature pertaining to its training program which
helps the public learn what is offered.
Besides offering literature, our informed members answer questions, and offer suggestions on how to find an
AOCNC member club that offers training in obedience, rally, agility, tracking
and conformation.
This year Wendy featured a Backpack disaster kit with first aid supplies and packaged food
and water (3 year shelf life). It’s
pre-packed, portable, and a possible life saver in case of emergency.(kits are
available for dogs and cats....complete with folding litter box!).They are perfect for every pet owner....and indispensable for one’s pet sitter if the
owners are unavailable when disaster strikes.
